In the first holiday month, along with the easing of anti-epidemic measures, interest in travel grew. Travel category - content, which includes, for example, websites with travel themes, descriptions of attractions and tourist attractions in individual destinations or with travel tips, grew significantly on all devices, but mostly on tablets (40%), then on mobile phones (32%) and classic PCs (22%).
Due to the ongoing holidays and vacations, as well as increased tourist traffic, the Database and Catalogs category continued to grow, which includes, for example, maps and timetables. Databases and catalogs gained the highest number of new users on mobile phones (an increase of 7%), followed by classic PCs (3%).
The ongoing Summer Olympics in Tokyo affected the increase in the number of Sports users in the daily attendance. In the last days of July, when the Czech Republic won, among other things, 3 gold medals, the daily traffic of sports websites increased to about 1.5 - 1.7 million RU from all facilities. In this category, we can expect an increase in the number of visitors or at least a stable trend in August.
In July, attendance at most leisure categories grew. For example, Interest servers recorded the largest increase in the number of users on tablets and mobile phones (5 and 6%, respectively), followed by traditional computers (3%). The categories of social magazines and entertainment and games grew mainly on mobile devices. The increase was 15% on tablets and 9% on mobile phones, and 10% on tablets, and 4% on mobile phones in the second.
